Maku UK gives purpose to stunning leather and sheepskins the fast-fashion industry so readily discards. Our slipper models are only produced in small quantities at a time, mostly as limited editions of 50 pairs or less. Batch sizes are determined entirely by the amount of leather or sheepskin we are able to source.
We've managed to source more pale gold leather outer, so there's a shiny new batch of glitzy POLIN Metallic Pale Gold in store! This batch also has a luxurious soft sheepskin inner – in a natural. As always, these POLINs are finished with our trademark striped trim and have light, hard-wearing textured EVA soles.
In cooler months POLIN’s sheepskin lining ensures your feet are beautifully cosy, whilst in warmer months the same inner allows your feet to breathe as sheepskin naturally wicks away any moisture. Stylish comfort, whatever the weather!
POLIN Metallic Pale Gold are limited edition slippers – meaning the amount of sheepskin or leather discards we can source in a particular finish determines the number of pairs we can produce per batch. Everything is designed to waste as little as possible during our production process.
Whilst every precaution is taken to quality check the waste materials we source, we are unable to predict how special finishes such as printed designs and metallics will wear over time – just part of owning a limited edition pair of slippers made from leather industry discards!
